Lifespan of Machine
All Kangen Water Ionizers are medical grade standards. The medical engine plates are titanium coated platinium and is build to last for minimum of 15 years with proper maintenance.
Other water filters / ionizers with no medical grade standards are build for trade-ins program. To 'upgrade' every 3-4 years to a newer and more expensive model
Filter Maintenance
All Kangen Water Ionizers have it's in-built filter system which calculates to change for every 6000 litres of water used. Typically for a middle-sized family, it lasts up to 6 - 12 months
Change regularly regardless of the level of water usage. Some may range every 2 months; some may range every 6 months, depending on the types of water filters/ionizers
Machine Maintenance
All Kangen Water Ionizers has it's own cleaning system to ensure the performance and quality of the machines are maintained throughout the life span
No way to clean the internal parts. Hence the trade-in programs when the machine malfunction overtime
Water Usages
All Kangen Water Ionizers produces 5 different types of water (more than 70 ways to use) so that families are able to carry a green healthy living lifestyle at an efficient and economical way
Only for drinking. Some may produce pH 2.5 and pH 11.5 too but the efficacy is questionable. Often times, it loses it's ability to produce at that level after 2 months in usage.
Medical Standards
All Kangen Water Ionizers are awarded with the ISO 13485 (Medical Device) by the Industry of Organization Standards which certifies the safety and quality of eac water production
Other water filters / ionizers do not have this prestigious ISO 13485 certificate. Enagic's Kangen Water Ionizers is the only one to have this in the world.
Safety for Consumption
All Kangen Water Ionizers are awarded with the Goal Seal Award from the Water Quality Association, certifying the water produced is safe for consumption.
Other water filters / ionizers do not have this Goal Seal Award from WQA, they may be members-to-be as Enagic's Kangen Water Ionizers is the only one to have this in the world.
Water Properties
All Kangen Water Ionizers use medical grade engine plates to produce 3 main properties in Kangen Water. (1) alkalinity ; (2) anti-oxidant ; and (3) micro clustering: hexagon shaped water molecules for high penetration into cellular level
Water filters : Rely on chemicals to make the water alkaline (hence frequent filter change)
Other Water Ionizers : Not medical grade standards, engine plates will malfunction overtime leading to lead exposure
